This Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Ivorian Bureau for the Promotion of African Integration (BIPIA), the Director, Doctor Moussa MAMA, granted an audience to a delegation from the Higher Council of Senegalese in Côte d'Ivoire (CSSCI). The delegation was led by its President, Mr. Fall Moustapha.
The main objective of this meeting was to renew contact between BIPIA and CSSCI, while exploring possibilities for collaboration for a better integration of Senegalese living in Côte d'Ivoire.
During the discussions, Mr. Fall Moustapha expressed the willingness of CSSCI to strengthen its ties with BIPIA in order to promote a more inclusive and beneficial integration dynamic for both communities. He also stressed the importance of promoting joint initiatives that highlight the values of African solidarity.
For his part, Doctor Moussa MAMA welcomed this proactive approach of the CSSCI and reaffirmed BIPIA's commitment to working in synergy with community organizations to promote African integration. He recalled that BIPIA remains a strategic partner to support initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of foreign communities living in Côte d'Ivoire, in compliance with the integration policies defined by the Ministry of African Integration and Ivorians Abroad.
The two parties agreed on the need to organize a series of working meetings in the near future to define a specific framework for collaboration, particularly in the areas of community support, cultural activities and awareness-raising on the rights and duties of foreign residents in Côte d'Ivoire.
This audience marks an important step in strengthening relations between BIPIA and foreign communities, and demonstrates the common desire to promote harmonious and constructive integration.
A date is set for the next steps of this promising partnership.
