60th anniversary of the AfDB: Financial institution’s support to Côte d'Ivoire increased from US$460 million in 2015 to US$3.3 billion in 2023

Côte d’Ivoire, a founding member country and the home state of the African Development Bank (AfDB), has seen its development significantly accelerated thanks to the support of the pan-African financial institution which increased from US$460 million in 2015 to 3,US$3 billion in 2023. This significant increase in AfDB support has contributed significantly to the strong performance of the Ivorian economy. The President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, welcomed this at the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the AfDB, under the theme "60 years to make a difference", on Tuesday 10 September 2024 in Abidjan Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Cocody.
