On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Ivorian Bureau for the Promotion of African Integration (BIPiA) welcomed a delegation from the Embassy of the United States of America. This meeting follows a request for an appointment to the embassy to discuss the project of the Regional Library of Integration.

The US delegation was led by Etonki Tchwenko, Head of Public and Cultural Programs, accompanied by Marie Laure Angoran, Specialist for the American Spaces Program.
The BIPIA was represented by the Director Mama MOUSSA, accompanied by Mr YEO Lassina, Head of department and several other heads of services.
The Head of Promotion and Communication opened the meeting by introducing the director of BIPiA and recalling the context of the creation of the Regional Library of Integration. Ms. Koné, Head of Communication and Documentation, then presented the library with a focus on expectations, including support from the US Embassy for a documentary collection on their integration model.

The hosts of BIPIA have in turn welcomed this beautiful initiative and committed to support it according to their possibilities for the realization of this important project.
After the exchange, the US delegation visited the library, accompanied by the Director and staff of BIPIA.
This visit allowed the representatives of the Embassy to see the efforts already made by BIPIA with an existing documentary collection of more than 600 books.
