Visit of the Chinese Embassy to the Regional Integration Library
On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, the Ivorian Office for the Promotion of African Integration (BIPIA) had the honor of welcoming Mr. WANG Jijie, Counselor for Political Affairs at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Côte d'Ivoire. This visit follows the fruitful discussions held on September 30 between BIPIA and His Excellency the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, as part of efforts to revitalize the Regional Integration Library at the office of the Minister Delegate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in charge of African integration and Ivorians Abroad.
Dispatched by His Excellency the Ambassador, Mr. WANG was received by the Director of BIPIA, Dr. Moussa MAMA, accompanied by Mr. Missa SORO, Head of the Projects Department, Mrs. DAGO, Heritage Manager, and Mrs. KONE Mariame, Head of Communication and Awareness Services, who is responsible for the Library project. Together, they discussed potential cooperation and actions to be taken for the revitalization of this flagship project.
He toured the library facilities and reviewed the existing collections and installations presented to him. He welcomed the birth of this promising partnership and expressed the ambassador's willingness to actively support BIPIA in this revitalization project. He also promised to report back to His Excellency the Ambassador.
